About ASHC2000
ASHC2000 is a one-man publishing house — and it is building a library that doesn't burn.
The story of this house
The old world's great library burned the way all libraries burn: one fire, one night, and a thousand years of stories gone before morning. Not because the stories were weak — because they lived in one place, in one copy. What fire could reach, fire took.
This library is being built so that no fire can reach it. It is not raised in stone. It is born in light — written where light travels, kept not in one copy but in many places at once, so that no single night and no single locked door can ever take it whole. And over it stands a lighthouse, lit from the first evening and never allowed to go out: one light to steer home by, for any reader adrift among the endless shelves of the world.
The builders are not kings, and they say so. They are storytellers with a scaffold — and not the kind who gather other men's scrolls, either. Every shelf here fills with stories made under this roof. The roof is not on yet, and some of the walls are still chalk lines on the ground. The library is being built the slow way — book by book, in full view of anyone who cares to watch.
But one law has held from the first day, and it holds still: a story enters this library only bound, re-read, and finished.
The house today
Behind the pen name ASHC2000 is one man, and a workshop that never sleeps for long. The books here are originals of every genre the house takes on — built first on written world-bibles, then read and re-read until clean, and finished before they are ever promised. They are written with AI assistance, and directed, checked and certified under a human-run quality process: the house says so on every book, in the open.
On the shelves today:
- ROOTBOUND — a cozy cultivation tale. 80 chapters, free to read here.
- The Apothecary of Konoha — a Naruto fanfiction by Bitterleaf. 80 chapters, free to read here.
- The basketball series — one book per team, the same years, built on the real record. In preparation: its page says exactly where it stands.
